Things Every Traveller Should Know Before Travelling Overseas

People tend to seek out adventures that are well, actually adventurous rather than just going out. There are different reasons we travel for. Whether you are new to the travel or are a tried-and-
true traveller, there are certain
things you need to know before travelling overseas.

Here are the few things every
traveller should know to ensure their time on
the road is as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

Passport

You're going to need a passport. These aren't difficult or costly to obtain, don't wait until the last minute ;waiting will not only make expensive but also difficult to obtain.
Another way to get it cheap is by walking into the immigration office to doing it by yourself. Involving an agent will make it expensive.
Why is passport important? It's a vital document and essential to Travellers. Always know your passport number by heart.

-Visa

Most countries you might visit won't require a Visa. And countries that do tend to make the process so difficult ;although it differs from countries. To avoid the issue of visa denial, try doing it far enough in advance. Read the instructions on any form given several times, that you understand them clearly and follow it properly.

-Exchange rate

Every traveller should have at least
knowledge of what the exchange rate is for the
currency used in each location they are travelling to. This
helps to regulate budget and maintain a level of
check and balances while spending abroad.

-Know your App

Apps like Google Street view , Google maps  and more are
available to help you score new locations. Helps you to
-figuring out the direction to your hotel.
-learning how
to connect to free Wifi and discovering native
restaurants.

-Embassy

Try to visit or know which area the your country embassy is located.
Most people take this for granted, as they do not
know the role of their country embassy. The few who do
are those who have had issues and needed the
immunity or coverage of this organisation. When
travelling.

  2. I've learned a trick that is really helpful about the exchange rate. Usually if the money is stronger than your local money, you should calculate about 100 of those for each day. If the money is weaker than yours, than you should calculate from 1.000 to 3.000 per day. it helps a lot to know how expensive things are the country you are going as well :)

National museum of unity Enugu popularly called Enugu museum is one of the best place to pay a visit while in Enugu. I thought it's not functional  until I paid a visit. A people without a history are lost forever.

The preparation for the visit were handled by our Biological techniques lecture Prof. Onyiudo who made a contact with the museum management alongside my class governor and get a date for the visit.
By 10:00 am on the said day, we were ready. Each students carted for his/her transport fare. Upon arrival, we assembled inside a hall close to the museum where three of the museum officers and our lecturer lectured us on the meaning and the rules guiding the museum.
After the lecture, they allowed us in and separated us into two groups. Each group was assigned to a guide.
